Fall Porch Decor

Hi Loves,

Can you believe we are in October?! I am excited that we are in the Fall season because that means I have so much to share with you guys. I love this time of year because it's when I get my most creative juices going. This year is the first year we are actually in our new home during the Fall season, so I have been super excited to start thinking about how I was going to decorate our porch.

With Fall comes Halloween and if you know me, you know by now that I don't do Halloween decor anywhere around my house. I don't do it for many reasons, but it's just not for me. I prefer playing up Fall themes and bringing it all the way through Thanksgiving. This year I chose more neutral based colors that went with my homes color scheme but still adding hints of orange to give you that Fall vibe.

In a perfect world, my home would have a wrap around porch, but I am not that lucky, so I have to work with what I have. My porch is tiny, but I wanted to make a statement with my porch decor. I love mums, but I also don't like bright colors when it comes to decor, so I stuck with mostly white mums and added two orange ones. I also added rustic pieces from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Over the weekend we did go to a pumpkin patch and found these light orange pumpkins which I love more than super bright orange. I already had faux pumpkins, so I just added those in the mix. I didn't want to go too crazy buying pumpkins because it can get expensive, so the faux was a perfect alternative for me. If you notice I also added Kale to add some greenery which was an idea I got from Pinterest. I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest when I have a vision in my head of what I am thinking so if you don't have Pinterest do yourself a favor and get it, it helps. I did film myself decorating so stay tuned for a closer look at the porch and where each item I purchased is from. For now check out some pictures below of my Fall porch.

Peace & Love,

Lissette
